Shoulder stability is an important component in many sports, but mainly overhead sports. Working on strengthening your shoulder system will help reduce the risk of injuries, such as; dislocations, impingements, and rotator cuff tears. Here are some exercises which focus on muscle activation, strengthening, proprioception, utilising the kinetic chain to improve stability and finally implementing into functional movements. Try to implement them into your rehab program 3-4 times a week.
